Statement of Faith

The Bible

We believe the Bible—comprised of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments—is the inspired, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God (2 Tim 3:16; John 17:17). It is the foundation of all truth and is central to the education we provide at Oaks Academy. Our academic approach upholds biblical principles, teaching students to understand the world through a Christian worldview.

God the Father

We believe in one true and living God, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deut 6:4; Matt 28:19). He is sovereign over all creation, all-knowing, all-powerful, just, and loving (Ps. 115:3; 1 John 4:8). As a school, we seek to cultivate a reverence for God’s holiness and a deep understanding of His truth in all areas of study.

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man (John 1:1, 14). He was born of a virgin (Matt 1:23), lived a sinless life, and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins through His death on the cross (Rom. 5:8; 1 Peter 2:24). He rose physically from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will one day return (Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thess 4:13-17). Our goal at Oaks Academy is to educate students with the knowledge and character of Christ, encouraging them to emulate His character and example.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and actively at work in the world today (Acts 5:3-4). He convicts of sin, regenerates believers, and guides them in truth (John 16:8-9; Titus 3:5-7). As a Christ-centered learning environment, Oaks Academy encourages students to be led by the Spirit, developing godly wisdom, discernment, and Christ-like character.

Humanity & Our Need for Salvation

We believe that God created all people in His image, giving them inherent worth and purpose (Gen. 1:26-27). However, because of sin, humanity became separated from God and is unable to restore that relationship on its own (Rom. 5:12). Salvation is not something we can earn by our own merit, but is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, whose sacrificial death and resurrection provide the only way to be reconciled to God (Eph. 2:8-9). At Oaks Academy, we teach that every individual is made in God’s image, yet also needs a Savior. Our goal is to help students understand this redemptive truth and encourage them to grow in knowledge, faith, and love for Christ, while keeping a right view of self.

The Return of Christ & Eternity

We believe that Jesus Christ will return to judge the world and establish His eternal kingdom (Rev. 20:11-15). Those who trust in Him will dwell with God forever, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation (John 5:22; 1 Cor. 15:22-23). Our commitment at Oaks Academy is to equip students with a biblical foundation, preparing them to engage this life with faith, hope, and the knowledge of eternity.

Commitment to the Statement of Faith

Oaks Academy is committed to teaching all subjects through a biblical worldview, integrating faith and learning to help students grow in wisdom, character, and knowledge. We ask that all parents affirm or agree to cooperate with this Statement of Faith in the spirit of unity.
