Our Elective Program: Learning Beyond Core
After a morning of core academic instruction, Foundations students (K–4th grade) enjoy a vibrant afternoon of electives designed to nurture creativity, movement, and hands-on learning.
We believe God has uniquely gifted each student, and our electives provide a space for those gifts to grow. Led by passionate, Christ-centered instructors, these classes encourage students to explore new interests, develop practical skills, and experience the joy of learning in new ways.
Electives run from 1:00–2:00 PM and 2:00–3:00 PM each Monday. Students may enroll in one or both elective periods. Offerings will vary by semester.
Electives take place after lunch and can include options such as:
P.E. – building coordination, teamwork, and physical confidence
Art – exploring creative expression through various mediums
Music – learning rhythm, melody, and performance confidence
Mad Dog Math – reinforcing math facts through games and interactive activities
Our electives are a meaningful way to supplement at-home learning with opportunities that are fun, engaging, and intentionally designed for a well-rounded education.
